The memorials for James Gandolfini have begun. As Broadway theaters dimmed the lights of their marquees in honor of the Tony nominee, close family and friends gathered at an invitation-only wake for the actor at a funeral home in Park Ridge, New Jersey, Wednesday. Gandolfini’s official funeral will take place Thursday at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York City. The Sopranos star was 51 years old when he died in Italy last week.
