Jamie Horowitz, the president of National Networks for Fox Sports, has reportedly hired a litigator after abruptly being fired from Fox Sports. The news was first announced in an internal email from Fox Sports President Eric Shanks that went public on Monday. In it, Shanks gave no reason for Horowitz’s departure but hinted at problems with professional conduct. “Everyone at FOX Sports, no matter what role we play, or what business, function or show we contribute to—should act with respect and adhere to professional conduct at all times. These values are non-negotiable,” the email reads. The New York Times later cited a top executive saying the company is investigating sexual harassment claims against Horowitz. Horowitz, who began his stint with Fox Sports in May 2015, has hired well-known litigator Patricia Glaser to represent him after his ouster, according to the Hollywood Reporter. His bio on the Fox Sports website was inaccessible as of Monday afternoon, and he has yet to comment on the matter.
