The alleged mastermind of a 1982 terrorist attack on a Jewish restuarant in Paris has been arrested by Jordanian officials and subsequently released on bail, a Jordanian judicial source told Agence France-Press. Zuhair Mohamad Hassan Khalid al-Abassi, a.k.a. Amjad Atta, was wanted along with two other men for the attack that killed six people and injured 22 others. The attack was blamed on the Palestinian militant Abu Nidal Organization. The judicial source says al-Abassi is under a travel ban.
