Kim Kardashian Finally Gets Noticed By Vogue: Anna Wintour and the team at Vogue have, according to The Cut, finally acknowleged Kim Kardashian’s existence. The magazine has published an opinion piece to its site titled “A Girl Named North? Why Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Baby Name Isn’t that Unusual.” The site once went to great lengths to ignore Kardashian entirely, even cropping her out from a Met Gala best-dressed slideshow. Rick Owens's Eurovision Performance: Rick Owens enlisted Estonian band Winny Puhh, a former Eurovision contender, to perform while hanging from the ceiling of his menswear presentation on Thursday. Style.com critic Tim Blanks described the scene as “Scary, sleazy, over the top.” But Owens has a different way of looking at the intensive stunt group: “Estonian is such an alien language that when it’s shrieked at you by a guy in a wolf mask, it becomes major.” [Style.com]
Kate Upton's New Vogue Cred: Kate Upton has nabbed another Vogue cover. Straight off of her first American Vogue issue, the supermodel has booked the cover of Vogue Brasil’s July issue, on which she looks ladylike in a Miu Miu ensemble. [The Cut]
Mary-Kate Olsen Styles For Kids: Mary-Kate Olsen is getting in the kids fashion game too. Olsen has established herself as a serious fashion designer, with her award-winning label The Row (which she co-designs with twin sister Ashley). But this week, she reached a younger demographic by styling a series of adorable outfits for children’s style blog Ladys & Gents, the Internet brainchild of fashion designer Jenni Kayne and stylist Estee Stanley. The looks, which incorporate designs by Crew Cuts, will soon run on the blog. [E!]
