A group of 17 conservative groups supported by the Koch brothers will be spending $889 million before the 2016 presidential elections. The financial goal was announced at a convention for Freedom Partners, the lobby central to the Koch-backed network. The amount is close to as much as the $1 billion that each parties' nominee will spend for the election, and more than doubles the figure raised by the Kochs in 2012.
