Scratch that: Levi Johnston, two-time fiancé of Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol and the father of Palin’s grandson Tripp, says he takes back his recent apology to the former Alaska governor. In an interview on CBS’ The Early Show airing Friday, Johnston said: “I don't really regret anything. But the only thing I wish I wouldn't have done is put out that apology 'cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I've never lied about anything.” The interview comes on the heels of news that Johnston will seek to run for mayor of his hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, next year, and has joined on with a production company to produce the potential reality series Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office. Palin was, of course, the former mayor of Wasilla.
