Liam Neeson has been picked to take on the tattoo artist role in The Hangover 2, the sequel to the hit comedy starring Bradley Cooper, Zack Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha in a wild, drunken Vegas adventure. Mel Gibson was originally cast for the role, but he was let go after an internal backlash at Warner Bros. Gibson has become a toxic asset in Hollywood after a spate of episodes involving anti-Semitic, racist, and misogynistic remarks. The tattoo-artist character is described as “crazy,” “intense,” and “someone you’re afraid to talk to,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
