Somehow, some way, Lindsay Lohan keeps avoiding jail time. The beleaguered 24-year-old actress was ordered back to rehab by a California judge on Friday for a failed drug test, narrowly avoiding prison. Even though Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox had threatened to send the Mean Girls starlet to jail for 30 days for each drug test she either failed or skipped, the judge ordered the actress to continue rehab until January 3. Lohan’s legal woes stem from a pair of incidents—a drug arrest and a DUI arrest, back in 2007. Since then, the actress has violated her probation on multiple occasions, including missing her weekly counseling sessions, and, most recently, failing a drug test.
