Twenty-year-old Pakistani human rights advocate Malala Yousafzai will study at the University of Oxford in the U.K., she announced in a tweet on Thursday. “So excited to go to Oxford!!" she wrote. “Well done to all A-level students—the hardest year. Best wishes for life ahead!” The Nobel laureate and best-selling author became known all over the world when, at the age of 15, she was shot in the head by Taliban soldiers. Yousafzai has been a symbol for human rights and education ever since.
