A Mississippi man angered by the end of Confederate flag sales was arrested and charged with attempting to detonate a bomb at a Walmart this weekend. Marshall W. Leonard, 61, of Tupelo, has been a vocal supporter of the Mississippi state flag, which contains the infamous Confederate battle flag symbol, and was outspoken about the retail giant’s decision to remove Confederate-themed items from its stores. Under a particular state code, he could be sentenced to life in prison, if convicted.
