A man was pulled from the ruins of the collapsed Napoli Inn Hotel in Port-au-Prince, 11 days after the building collapsed on top of him. The 23-year-old was seen smiling as he was taken on a stretcher toward an ambulance while Haitians and rescuers cheered. The Haitian government had said that search and rescue operations had ended. Though it took two and a half hours to dig through the 16 to 20 feet of debris above him, the man appeared to be in good condition, rescuers said. He told rescuers that four people were trapped with him, but stopped moving a few days ago.
