A Maryland cop has been charged with first-degree assault and misconduct in office after he held a man who hadn’t committed a crime at gunpoint. Jenchesky Santiago, a Prince George County Officer, put held his gun against a man’s head—and at his mouth—while attempting to block him from entering his home. The officer claimed he and his friend were parked illegally when they weren’t. Santiago also threatened the two men by saying, “We’re PGPD; we shoot people,” and has been put on suspension without pay. "We do not train our officers in this manner," Prince George's County police chief Mark Magaw said in a statement. "These actions are not indicative of the high standards we expect of our officers."
