A judge reportedly ruled Monday that cartel boss Joaquin Guzmán, better known as “El Chapo,” can be extradited to the United States on trafficking charges related to his drug empire. He was moved to a Mexican prison over the weekend closer to the border with El Paso, Texas, before the ruling came down. Guzmán was arrested in January following his headline-grabbed escape from a maximum-security prison. His capture was preceded by a shootout in the city of Los Mochis.
