A boat carrying nearly 200 people capsized in rough seas about 40 miles off the Italian island of Lampedusa on Wednesday morning. Rescuers saved 48 people from the sea, and found 20 bodies. Three Coast Guard vessels, two planes, and a helicopter are searching for survivors. The 42-foot-long boat had left two days ago from Zuwara in Libya but got caught in strong seas. Recently, hundreds of Libyan refugees have been arriving in Italy. On Tuesday, Italy and Tunisia reached an agreement in order to stop the influx of illegal immigrants going from Tunisia to Lampedusa.
