Mir Hossein Mousavi, the Iranian dissident and leader of the "Green Revolution" that made world headlines in 2009, has disappeared, his daughters told an opposition website Thursday. The two women said they haven't heard from either of their parents since Tuesday, and fear they have been detained by Iranian police. Security forces have surrounded the Mousavis' home and cut off all communication with the outside. Iranian hardliners have called for rallies in support of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's regime after opposition protests were brutally suppressed Monday by the country's Revolutionary Guard and paramilitary Basij officers. Thousands of government supporters called for the execution of opposition leaders at a prayer service on Friday.
