Sheena Greitens, the wife of Missouri Governor-elect Eric Greitens, was reportedly robbed at gunpoint Monday evening not far from the family’s St. Louis home. Grietens took to Facebook to announce that Sheena was “safe—but shaken” after the incident. According to the St. Louis Police Department, Sheena Greitens was sitting in her car looking at her phone when a black male opened her door, pointed a gun at her, and demanded she hand over her property, including her phone and laptop. Police later tracked down the phone and arrested three teens after a brief chase. “We are grateful for the men and women of law enforcement. Their response was swift and skilled, and we thank God for their presence tonight,” Eric Greitens posted, going on to say the incident bolstered his support of law enforcement in the face of “violence and chaos in our communities.”
