Mitt Romney has officially won the New Hampshire primary with 35.6 percent of the vote, becoming the first non-incumbent Republican to win both Iowa and New Hampshire. Second place surprisingly goes to Ron Paul who's currently claiming 24.3 percent and is trailed just slightly by Jon Huntsman at 18 percent. Romney is reportedly "ecstatic" that Paul is winning second place. Paul beat Romney 48 to 23 percent among voters under 30, though the two were tied for the 30-something demographic. Romney dominates older voters--a demographic with which Gingrich is also very popular. The New York Times reports that turnout for the G.O.P. primary this year is on pace to be less than in 2008.
