Who’s the most stylish first lady of them all? Michelle Obama, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, and Samantha Cameron all topped Vanity Fair’s annual International Best-Dressed List, which was released Tuesday. Obama—who was commended for her “arms, belts, cardigans, shifts, high hair, and kitten-heel pumps”—made it onto the list for the fourth consecutive year, while this year marks SamCam’s debut. Other shoo-ins this year included Lady Gaga (whose accessories are described as “the kitchen sink”), Diane Kruger, Carey Mulligan, David Beckham, and Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal. In the fashion world, Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman, Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz, and John Galliano all made the cut. And the list wouldn’t be complete without a handful of internationals royals—which this year included the Duchess of Alba and Pierre Casiraghi.
