Not sick of Twitter yet? Here’s another installation of Twitterature to test your limits. The World According to Twitter, a forthcoming book by New York Times tech columnist David Pogue, is being billed as a compilation of the twitticisms he’s gathered from the site. The idea, Pogue says, began when he gave a demonstration about Twitter and posed a question to his some 200,000 Twitter followers: “Anyone got a pun that can fit in 140 characters?” The responses were immediate—and ceaseless. “I used to work at an orange juice factory, but they canned me because I couldn’t concentrate,” responded one user. Pogue will send a free copy of his book to everyone he publishes in the book. Let the tweeting begin!
