At least 10 people were injured Monday afternoon after police say a car drove into pedestrians in east Boston near a taxi pool for Logan International Airport. The Massachusetts State Police said at least 10 people were injured, one of them seriously. Witnesses cited by NBC Boston said the driver told them he’d lost control of the car, while a separate report by AP said he confused the gas with the brake pedal. Police identified the driver as a 56-year-old man from Cambridge and said he was being interviewed over the incident. They also said they did not believe it was deliberate.
