Mohammed Badie, the supreme leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, was captured by Egyptain police early Tuesday. Officials say he was found in an apartment in the Nasr City district of Cairo—the same neighborhood where Mohamed Morsi supporters held a six-week protest. Badie and his deputy Khairat el-Shater, who is already in custody, will be tried later this month for allegedly aiding in the killing of eight demonstrators outside the Brotherhood’s headquarters in June.
