Model Naomi Campbell may have to testify in the war crimes trial of Charles Taylor, the former Liberian president allegedly involved in the bloody rebellion in Sierra Leone. Campbell’s former agent Carole White claims that the model, who slapped aside an ABC News producer's camera and left an interview after being asked about the diamonds, received uncut stones after a dinner at Nelson Mandela’s house in South Africa in 1997. White and actress Mia Farrow have also been called to testify. The judge has yet to grant the subpoena request, which was submitted to the Special Court for Sierra Leone in the Netherlands. Campbell, for her part, went on Oprah early this month and said that she wouldn’t continue to talk about the situation because she fears for her family’s safety if she is connected with the warlord’s case.
