The son of Colombia’s drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, is finally atoning for his father’s sins in a documentary, Sins of My Father, which will be released in Colombia on December 10. The movie follows Escobar as he writes and hand delivers apologies to his father's victims. During Escobar's reign, Colombia's murder rate skyrocketed. Escobar was gunned down following a series of murders, and his family fled to Argentina, where his son, Juan Pablo, changed his name to Sebastian Marroquin. The documentary is generating buzz for its 20-print release, the widest ever for a documentary. Michael Moore's Sicko didn't show in Colombia, and Golden Globe winning Waltz With Bashir was released in only one print. (Variety)
