Jingle Bells, Batman, Um, Sells
Every "Batman" movie lands with a Batcave full of merchandise: lunchboxes, McDonald's cups—and remember how everyone wore that shiny black pin back in the '80s? But for this summer's "The Dark Knight," the sound you hear at the register is the Joker cackling. Fans have snatched up so many of Mattel's Joker action figure that there's already a frenzy for them—you'll have to hit eBay if you want one now. But you might have to take a shower, too. Because let's face it: a major reason people are desperate for this creepy figure—as opposed to the one inspired by the Jack Nicholson character in 1989—is that Heath Ledger, who plays him in the movie, died unexpectedly in January.
