THRILL FACTOR: GIANT SWINGS
Situated on a picturesque peninsula flanked by Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay, the WindSeeker sits at the other end of the thrill spectrum: it's one part carousel, one part giant playground swing, one part aerial ballet. A rotating hub rises up a mechanized column 301 feet above ground level to spirit guests through the air on dangling two-person swings with top speeds of 30 miles per hour. With expansive views, it's more for sightseers than thrill seekers--unless you're scared of heights, and then prepared to be terrified.
