And They're Not All That Fond Of Fox News, Either. But That's Another Story

As President Bush often likes to remind reporters, he doesn't pay much attention to the polls. If that's true, maybe it's a good thing because here's one he surely won't like: The latest Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll, released Thursday, finds that Bush now has a higher unfavorable rating than Vice President Cheney, a guy who likes to joke about how unpopular he is. According to the poll, which was taken after last week's televised address on Iraq, Bush's unfavorable rating is now at 58 percent, compared to 53 percent for Cheney. When it comes to their approval ratings, both men were dead even: Bush at 38 percent, Cheney at 37 percent. But leave it to Fox News to put things into perspective. The pollsters also asked the public to weigh in on a feud that clearly has more national implications than that old war in Iraq: the trash talk between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump. According to Fox, Rosie's unfavorable rating, like Bush's, is at 58 percent, while Trump is tied with Cheney at 53 percent. We're not sure what this means for the nation, but it's pretty much dashed any hope for a Rosie/Trump ticket in '08.
