Sestak Won't Be Leaving the Fight Any Time Soon
Democrat Rep Joe Sestak, the former Admiral who was gearing up to run for Senate against Arlen Specter back in the days when Specter was a Republican, told Talking Points Memo last night that he couldn't understand why Democrats made a deal with Specter instead of running one of their own against him. Sestak doesn't mince words, and has no fondness for Specter. "He left the fight," Sestak told TPM. "In the military, we just don't
leave fights." Looks like Sestak is leaving his options open for 2010.
