Accessible Professors

Want to get to know your professors? Newsweek ranks the schools where your profs will consider you a person, not a number.

Methodology: To pick colleges with the most accessible professors, we considered both the quality and quantity of professors at each school. Half of our overall score was based on an analysis of student-posted evaluations on RateMyProfessors.com, conducted by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, an education think tank. The other half was based on the student-to-faculty ratio at each school (from the National Center for Education Statistics).
