Forget the all-nighters, junk food and binge drinking—Newsweek ranked the best colleges for those inclined to healthier pursuits.

To find the health-minded campuses across the country, Newsweek considered five factors of the college and the student body: sexual health, drug scene, physical activity, campus food and student health care. Sexual health was assessed according to Trojan’s annual Sexual Health Report Card of more than 140 colleges. Drug scene ratings and student health care assessment are according to student responses on College Prowler, as well as an rating of the campus athletic facilities to gauge how much the university has invested to support physical activity. All metrics were equally weighted, with an extra bonus added based on the percent of each college's food budget spent on local/organic food, when available from The Princeton Review survey of schools.
