While there may be pricier addresses, few are as prestigious as 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Built between 1792 and 1800, The White House has been home to every U.S. president since John Adams. But how do the accommodations compare to the presidents' (and president elect's) current residences? And what kind of “downsizing” did past presidents have to endure? Here’s a look at the homes of former commanders in chief, and the soon-to-be inaugurated president.
