Sincere and insincere celebrity apologies--and some we're still waiting for

Salacious gossip, celebrities, and the blame game: It's a cocktail almost no one can resist. And with nearly every scandal comes the requisite apology and show of contrition. Well, at least there's an apology; some offenders don't seem to feel too bad about their misdeeds. Here are a few of the greatest high-profile mea culpas in recent memory, and a few of the greatest displays of audacious unrepentance. We've ranked each on a Sincerity Index, running from complete openness and honesty (+10) to complete and total shamelessness (-10).
