Meredith Grace Rittenhouse and Meredith Ellen Harrington were Chinese-born fraternal twins separated at birth, then adopted by separate families in America. Meredith Ellen (on left, with longer hair) now lives in Birmingham, Ala., while Meredith Grace lives in Chicago. Their families noted a resemblance in photos posted on an adoption message board and then confirmed the relationship through genetic testing. Though the girls met when they were 4, they each spent much of their life before that pining for a sister.
