America is obsessed with tigers. Though only 3,000 of these powerful predators that are known to kill bears and leopards survive in the wild, more than 7,000 live in the U.S. A small percentage are in established zoos. The rest prowl celebrity homes, roadside animal parks and tiny apartments. They are even used as enforcers for drug dealers.
