This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Post-it Note, a brand that has more than 4,000 products in its line. The original sticky pad, however, remains the best-known one and has been used for a lot more than note-taking. NEWSWEEK walks down Post-it memory lane—from the creation of those little yellow pieces of paper to some of the strange scenarios they've survived—to paint a picture of the product's history, and its cultural influence.
