Colin Goddard, 25, is a survivor of the April 16, 2007 Virginia Tech shooting. "Goddard was hit four times: twice in the hips, once in the right shoulder, once in the left knee," writes NEWSWEEK'S Andrew Romano and Pat Wingert in a feature story on gun control. The shooter, Seung-Hui Cho, hit 49 people with bullets fired from two handguns. Thirty-three people died in the scuffle, including Cho. Goddard is now a gun-control lobbyist, and his pro-gun-control film, "Living for 32," (a nod to the victims) recently screened at Sundance--and at a Virginia theater close to where the shooting happened four years ago. Here, Goddard is shown photographed on the Virginia Tech campus this year.
