Methodology:
To rank the political atmosphere and reigning campus philosophy of campuses around the nation, we partnered with College Prowler. We considered data on the percentage of students who deemed their school “very liberal” or “liberal,” as well as the student rating for the political diversity. The percentage of “very liberal” was given a double weight, and the diversity score was used as a tie-breaking metric for schools with student bodies of matching liberal leanings.
