An explosion at a marketplace in the northeastern Nigerian city of Yola on Tuesday killed 32 people and injured 80 others, according to local police and witnesses. No one claimed responsibility, but officials suspected Boko Haram, the militant Islamic group that has killed thousands across the country. Yola has twice been hit by deadly blasts this year. Most victims were vendors and shoppers, said Deputy Superintendent Othman Abubakar, the police spokesman for Adamawa state.
