A team of independent experts have concluded that Argentine special prosecutor Alberto Nisman was murdered, his ex-wife said at a news conference Thursday. Nisman was found dead at his home in January, the night before he was due to appear before a congressional panel to testify against President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in connection to a 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown. Nisman’s former wife, Sandra Arroyo Salgado, told reporters a team of forensic experts determined his death was a homicide based on reports from a post-mortem examination and existing forensic evidence. Salgado, a federal judge, did not disclose details of the full report. Viviana Fein, who is leading the investigation into Nisman’s death, told Argentina’s Radio Nacional that she will consider the new revelations.
