The New York Review of Books has admitted to a false report in Edward Jay Epstein's article, "What Really Happened to Strauss-Kahn." Epstein had described an encounter between Sofitel security of what "looked like" a three-minute "dance of celebration" on the day DSK was arrested for alleged sexual assault. Editors posted a note on the Review's website revealing Epstein's claim has been debunked by security camera recordings, which show "the episode ... lasted approximately thirteen seconds." The Daily Beast's Chris Dickey was the first to point out the erroneous report in Epstein's speculative "What Really Happened."
