Hawaii’s late Senator Daniel Inouye was honored at a dignitary-filled memorial service Sunday. President Obama and Harry Reid attended the ceremony, which included a 19-gun cannon salute as the coffin arrived to be buried at Honolulu’s National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. "Daniel was the best senator among us all,” Reid said in a eulogy. “Whenever we needed a noble man to lean on, we turned to Sen. Dan Inouye. He was fearless.” Senator Inouye, a noted World War II veteran, passed away following respiratory complications a week ago. He was the second-longest serving senator in U.S. history.
