President Obama looks set to infuse America’s early-education system with some Tiger Mom ethics. As he continues his post-SOTU tour Thursday in the Southern states, the White House says Obama will unveil plans to “make high-quality preschool available to every single child in America,” a promise he first introduced in Tuesday night's State of the Union. “In states that make it a priority to educate our youngest children, like Georgia and Oklahoma, studies show students grow up more likely to read and do math at grade level, graduate high school, hold a job, and form more stable families of their own,” he said Tuesday. According to the White House, Obama will also push for state schools to implement full days for kindergartners. Eat your Wheaties little guys, school's about to get tougher.
