Obama’s Final Free Day

How did Barack Obama spend his last day as a free man? The president-elect began his day by visiting wounded troops at Walter Reed Medical Hospital, and ended it by honoring John McCain at a dinner. Last night, he attended at least three banquets and went over several dry runs of his speech, which he largely authored himself. President Bush, meanwhile, spent his final day making phone calls to the leaders of Brazil, Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Russia and South Korea.
