MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann is not happy with his bosses. Following his two-day suspension, the Countdown anchor released an open letter to his viewers apologizing for having “precipitated such anxiety and unnecessary drama,” while lambasting NBC News brass for suspending him. He had been pulled from the air for giving money to three Democratic candidates—in violation with NBC’s disclosure policy. In his letter, Olbermann blamed NBC for creating a donation policy that was “inconsistently applied” and said he didn’t even know the rule existed. He wrote he “did not attempt to keep any of these political contributions secret; I knew they would be known to you and the rest of the public.” He also blasted the netwfork for not holding a hearing, and said he learned of his suspension through the media.
