Chloe Sevigny’s second collection for Opening Ceremony isn’t officially dropping until August, but you can now scoop up a pair of her $625 buckle wedges. They’re the sole available item on her coveted Fall 2009 lineup, but are only on sale online through Wednesday. The shoes, simultaneously reminiscent of both Xena Warior Princess and E.T., are on the shelf early “due to popular demand.” The line will feature a look Sevigny’s calls, simply, “gay lumberjack.” Ah, that explains everything.
