Sarah Palin lands on the cover of this Sunday’s New York Times magazine, which looks at the inner workings of her political team as she preps a likely presidential bid. Asked whether she’s weighing a run, Palin replied: “I am. I’m engaged in the internal deliberations candidly, and having that discussion with my family, because my family is the most important consideration here.” In a nod to how she may present her campaign, Palin conceded that there aren’t major policy disagreements between the prospective Republican candidates, but, she said, “that in fact there’s more to the presidency than that.” Palin also refuted the suggestion that she’s avoided the press, saying she’s on television almost every day as a Fox correspondent and on Facebook and Twitter.
