Seven cars of a MetroNorth passenger train heading into Manhattan derailed at a curve in the tracks early Sunday morning, killing at least four people and injuring 63 others. The train was just north of a station in the Bronx when it derailed, flipping one car down the river bank, and coming to a stop almost at the water. According to the engineer, the train's brakes did not respond when he applied them at the curve, which has a speed limit of 30 mph. According to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, authorities believe all passengers have been accounted for.
