The man who killed two former co-workers and himself at a UPS shipping center in Alabama on Tuesday told people he was having troubles at work, his pastor said. The man, identified as Kerry Joe Tesney, 45, of suburban Trussville, Alabama, was "troubled" over his work and his financial situation, said Bill Wilks, pastor of NorthPark Baptist Church, of which Tesney, his wife and their two children were members. "I think it's been an ongoing situation," Wilks said. A UPS spokesman declined to say what Tesney's job at the company was before his firing, which was finalized Monday. Tesney and his wife Melissa are listed as distributors for Advocare, a marketing company that sells health and fitness products. The names of his two victims were not released.
