Rick Perry sure does things unconventionally—or perhaps a step ahead of others. After stealing the show from the Iowa straw poll by announcing his candidacy Saturday in South Carolina, the Texas governor wasted no time and went straight to New Hampshire for a house party, where he said he felt "right at home." New Hampshire, of course, holds the nation's first primary, and Perry said he planned to compete "for every vote in every state." Perry has won 10 straight contested elections, and Texas Monthly has called him "The Great Campaigner."
