The Oscar Pistorius murder trial was delayed after the judge realized an image of a witness was broadcast on national television. While the trial is the first to be televised live in South Africa, participants have to give permission for their images to be shown. Judge Thokozile Masipa ordered an investigation into the leak after broadcaster eNCA showed the photo. She said, "I am warning the media: If you do not behave, you are not going to be treated with soft gloves by this court." The witness, a neighbor of Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp, claimed she heard “blood-curdling” screams from a woman before shots were fired.
