The Obamas threw a private party at the White House over the weekend where Prince and Stevie Wonder reportedly put on a VIP performance. White House spokesman Josh Earnest confirmed in a press briefing Monday that a private party was held Saturday, but refused to acknowledge who was in attendance. Al Sharpton tweeted about a performance by Prince and Stevie Wonder. Earnest added that the Obamas paid for the party, but declined to say how much it cost. The Obamas reportedly invited 500 guests, including lobbyists, CEOs, and director Tyler Perry and actress Angela Bassett, the New York Post reported.
